This one minute video consists of black frames taken out of 60 notoriously violent movies.
Found in fade-to-blacks or fast cuts between scenes, these frames are sometimes digitally black, sometimes filled with noise or ghostly shapes. Lined up next to each other they reveal their differences. What might appear totally black when surrounded by highly contrasting imagery, can now be seen properly for the first time. The violent content of the movies the monochrome images have been retrieved from is only hinted at through the list of titles.
