How bad can a translation be, and still remain protected by copyright? In "Believe Me I Say Onto You" the lyrics of the Beatles has been run back and forth through Google Translate via the languages of the European Union, until the limitations of the software has transformed the lyrics to absurdity. Sometimes similar to teenage poetry, sometimes echoing Dada, these poems have very little resemblance to the source, but still they are in their entirety based on the lyrics of the British pop group.
