A photographic image is mounted in a small light box on the inner wall of a darkened room with black walls, roof and carpet. To see the image the viewer enters from the big, brightly lit gallery space, into a smallish dark space where the echoing sounds of the visitor’s footsteps are suddenly muffled. The ceiling is notably lower than in the main gallery. All the focus is on the light box image.
The image itself portrays a fresh section of cobble stone road seemingly leading nowhere. In both directions the road ends by a fence.
