An aggressive gesture, a punk protest, a conceptual wall painting. The smell of back alleys and trashy parties. The stain on the wall and the sharp shards on the floor. Perhaps a protest against beer imperialists Carlsberg and Heineken trying to patent naturally occurring barley variants, or just an expression of piled up frustrations with the world at large. The performative aspect of the work continues as long as it takes to throw 99 bottles, or as long as the institution dares it to. On display during the exhibition is the beer stain on the wall and the pile of glass shards below.
