Conceptual Art Centre Bukovje is a collaborative project executed together with Slovene artist Nina Slejko. A family house in the Slovene hillside village Bukovje has been turned into an international art centre or possibly the other way around. Initiated in the spring of 2010, CAC Bukovje merges family life with contemporary art. Exhibitions are held in the living room, dining room and elsewhere throughout the house. Artists and curators are invited for talks in the shape of teatime with tea, coffee, cookies, cupcakes and more. CAC Bukovje is a social art project, but it is also an art centre with a vibrant international exhibition schedule including both emerging artists as well as established names like John Baldessari and Miltos Manetas. For the duration of January 2011 a temporary annex was opened in Berlin, and in 2012 a permanent annex opened in Landskrona, Sweden.
